5. Text Analysis – Your Data Stays with You

AIDetego analyses text exclusively in your browser (client-side JavaScript). Your texts are never transmitted to our or any third-party servers.

  • No transmission of texts to our or third-party servers
  • No storage of analysed texts
  • No disclosure to third parties
  • Analysis is performed by 16 independent modules directly in your browser

This design is a deliberate privacy feature: since texts never leave your browser, neither we nor third parties can access them.

6. Hosting (Vercel)

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you visit our website, Vercel automatically collects various server log files including your IP address.

We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) with Vercel. The transfer of personal data to the USA is secured by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2) and (3) GDPR).

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the reliable and secure provision of our website).

7. Database and Authentication (Supabase)

For user management and data storage, we use Supabase (Supabase Pte. Ltd., 970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore 318992). The database is located on servers in the EU (Frankfurt).

Data processed: email address, password hash, account metadata (creation date, last login).

We have concluded a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR with Supabase. Data transfers to third countries are secured by Standard Contractual Clauses.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract – provision of a user account).
